11 years and 11 months world champion Aussie, will have a day to remember 25th March 2011.
I’m not much a fan of Yuvraj Singh, as Sachin takes that place. But having said that, Yuvraj performed marvelously; like a true star, a perched sportsman who maintained utmost endurance, which of course wouldn’t be the same without Raina’s sturdy support.
It was definitely daunting for India to chase 261. Let’s admit it, just after Mahi’s dismissal the game seemed quiet in Aussie’s favour; however couple of fours and a six from Raina changed the entire equation.
Undoubtedly the boys have made Mahi & all us Indian very proud of a sport the country goes ballistic.
Men in blue will now go forward to what will be an even more tumultuous occasion on Wednesday, a semi-final against their great rivals Pakistan.
Way to go boys!!!
